STANISLAVA PINCHUK
UKRAINE, 1988
Stanislava Pinchuk (Miso) is an artist working with data mapping the changing topographies of war & conflict zones. Her works document the new topographies created by changing political situations - from data collected by her working on the ground.
Her last bodies of work have mapped the civil war in her home country - Ukraine, as well as the Fukushima & Chernobyl Nuclear Exclusion Zones. Pinchuk’s work centres around a drawing practice - as well as photography, installation & sculpture.
Her works & publishing archive have been acquired by Le Louvre’s Musée des Arts Decoratifs, The National Gallery of Australia, Museum of Contemporary Art, The National Gallery of Victoria & La Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
Stanislava is also known for her work with commercial clients such as Nike, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. - and has recently been named in the Forbes Asia '30 Under 30' list.
