Evelyn Tovar Toro (Colombia, 1985)
Evelyn Tovar is a plastic arts teacher at the Francisco José de Caldas District University. Her work focuses on a process of understanding her environment, through memories and journeys from private places like home, to public places that have a resonance in the way we understand the space we inhabit.
Her most recent works are focused on the creation of images and objects that allow us to resignify habitual situations through displacements in the way of seeing and recognizing common images, as a constant search to understand her immediate environment.
