Dolores Casares (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1960)
In the year 2000 she began to teach in her workshop, an activity that she continues to this day , where she addresses the multiplicity of contemporary artistc production . In 2001 and for five years she carried out the general coordination task at Proyectare, where she worked in construction clinics together with Eduardo Médici , Hector Médici , Ernesto Pesce and Jorge González Perrín . In 2007 she joined the Gallery Pasaje17 as coordinator of artistic projects , a position she currently occupies . Since 2018, together wit Mariana César, she has been in charge of organizing And curating the exhibitions in the visual arts room of the El Obrador Creative Center. The exercise of teaching represents part of her work: “accompanying creative processes, engaging in discussions, reflecting on our context and thinking about new maps and new frontiers, makes us think about our commitment as epochal artists. Her works have been distinguished in various salons, and her works are in renowned galleries such as: Eliana Benchimol in Brazil, Patricia Ruiz Healy in Houston, Luz Botero Gallery in Panama. In addition her work is included in collections of great importance throughout the world. She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
