Lucas Pertile (Argentina, 1976)
Lucas Pertile was born in Resistencia, Chaco, in 1976. He studied Graphic design in the faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (UBA) where he worked as a teacher of the chairs of Graphic Design III ( Wolkowicz ) and Editorial design ( Manela ). He worked for Turner, a media company providing premium entertainment content aimed at Spanish and Portuguese speakers in the world, in the Broadcast area ( Injaus ) for TV networks such as: Space, ISAT, Much Music, FTV, Venus and HTV among others. He studied drawing and painting with the Argentinean artist Miguel Angel Ronsino . From 2008 to 2015 he was part of the staff of artists of the art gallery Teresa Anchorena . At the end of 2009, together with Mariano López Hiriart DU (united designers), he created a multidisciplinary study of independent design and in 2013, Textiles Calavera Sur, commercializing their designs in the United States and Europe. In 2014 Laura Arce Art Gallery invited him to participate in different art fairs of the Asian market. Since 2006 he has exhibited in individual and collective shows.His works were published by the Dutch magazine “ Eigenhu & Interieur” and the Argentine magazines “ Entrecasa ” and Göoo”, his work has also appeared in several art catalogues. His works are part of collections in Argentina, Singapore, Beirut, United States, Norway, Czech Republic, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil. In 2017 he became a member of the staff of artists of the art gallery Isabel Anchorena.
